Have just come fom a Guild meeting where the demonstrator used a couple of plaques made from vanilla sugarpaste. She said this came from America - you could actually smell the vanilla. Do any of you use it ? She thought it was a mixture of sugarpaste and Mexican paste and said it was lovely to work with.

I have not heard of it. I am hoping some of our Hispanic members may know what it is if it is a mixture of a Mexican paste recipe.

I just received an order from Global Sugar Arts of Marcela Sanchez's Silk Flower Paste and am anxious to sit down and play with it. In her DVD she says it can be rolled much thinner than gumpaste without tearing or having ragged edges.
