Hey! HELP!! I need your inputs please!!
I am going to make a dummy cake for daughters Hollywood Themed Quincenera this Nov.
I was messing around and came up with these few designs. Now keep in mind this table will be decorated with Hollywood themed items.. Let me know what you do and dont like about these designs. Let me know if there is something else you would do to any of the designs to better fit the theme.
TIA
Christy...
p.s. whatever design I go with will be 7 tiers..

That is a LOT of cake. I like the staircase. It always makes an impressive statement.

I like #1. #2 is nice too but its seems like a lot. I think #3 is too tall and I dont really like the pillars on #4 being at the bottom like that. HTH. Good Luck! Its a really nice design.

I really, really don't like stairs or fountains. So my vote would be the first or third photo. The color combinations are striking but I like the simplicity of these two designs.

I must agree with ShirleyW. With the colors and photos, there's already a lot to look at.

I really like the 1st one. I feel the others detract away from the pictures you will be putting on the cake.

I like #1 but I would like to see the red roses filling the spaces instead of having just a few underneath.

I like #2. I think #3 would be to tall with 7 tiers.

I love the design though

I was doing stairs and fountains back in the seventies, and I just got totally worn out on them then. Simpler is always better, IMHO. I vote for #1.

i love fountains. i say #4. but instead of having roses in between each one, maybe put the two bottom two stacked together and the two top two and get rid of the cake in between. Then have pillars between the 2 and 3 cakes? make any sense? kind like the cake in my gallery would look with a fountain underneath and another cake on the top
