I have made cakeballs using coffee creamers, anyone want to share other things they have added to cakeballs?

There are several long threads about cakeball combinations. If you do a search you will find many.

Along with the coffee creamers, I have used peanut butter thinned with clear syrup in some, caramel ice cream topping in another batch. I have used the basic cake ball recipe and put a cherry in the middle of the cake ball. After you dip them in the chocolate, before they set you can also roll them in nut topping. There are still a lot of possibilities that I am wanting to try soon!!

I like to put a few drops of flavored extract in an ounce of milk and use that for my flavor/binding ingredient.

Oh yeah, and RUM!!

You make them!, just as if you were doing the recipe
tres leches is condensed milk+evaporated milk+regular milk
tiramizu is coffee+simple sirup+Kalua or Godiva liqueur

Buttercream works well as a binder too.

Thank you soo much... I can't wait to give this a try... a question though.. lets say I want to make the tiramisu flavor but kids will be eating, what would I use instead of the liqueur?

I made cakeballs a few times and these were the combinations i used (simple ideas)

used white cake, crushed up a candy cane and added mint extract

used white cake, added coconut flakes and coconut extract

used white cake, added cocoa to make chocolatey, added reeses peanut butter chips and then melted some chips and drizzled on top

used white cake, added cocoa to make chocolatey, added chopped walnuts and drizzled with melted choc. chips.

I also used the white almond sour cream cake and rolled some in powdered sugar and left some plain.

all were a hit around the coffee pot at work the next day. I don't know how long they last. Most days i have made them, they are gone in a few hours. Use something in your cabinet and see what you can come up with.

I have two kids, and they don't like coffee flavor anyway, but you can just omit the liquor and make coffee cake balls, It think this ones are for adults.
