for my cakes if I do edible images?
I am thinking seriously about purchasing one only if I can still charge the same prices.
If you have one, can you please tell me which one is best to buy?

you know i love ya! just messing with you. I can't answer this because i have no clue to what it costs or the time it takes in getting that printed and placed on a cake. I just saw you had posted and wanted to stop in!!

I was thinking that the image was faster to do with less work because you are printing it out and laying it on...not as time consuming as gel transfers or fbct.
I'm not talking about the borders or the little extras that we do to cakes.
have you looked at the prices of the edible inks and paper. they aren't cheap!! I charge $7 for an edible image. so far noone has had a problem with paying the extra for it. You are right that it is quicker, but the equipment isn't cheap so you will have to account for that cost. I thinkt hey are def. worth the investment though.
HI STEPHANIE, I DO ALOT OF IMAGES AND I TOO CHARGE $7.EXTRA ,
You might not have the extra work to do, but you will have the cost of the image PLUS your traveling time to go get it...If you make it yourself...you have the cost of your paper and inks...and IT'S NOT CHEAP!!!
Charge $5 to $10 for the edible transfer...depends on the size of it too...
