How much are the Wilton courses???? I'm thinking of taking them, but the closest one is over 20 miles away, and I want to see how much everything would be all together. Thanks

The classes themselves are only $25 (right now Hobby Lobby is signing up for March at 1/2 price), but than the supplies and student kit you need are extra. I'd guess i spent about $100 on supplies over the 4 classes in course #1.

You should do it! They are soo o fun!!

It really depends a bit on the instructor. It would be a good idea to see if you can get a supply list from the store. You may already have things you won't need to buy. You don't necessarily have to buy the full class kit. I had a lot of things already, so I just added a tip or two to complete the courses.

Definetaly get a list, each instructor uses somethings a little different. HL is 1/2 for this month and Michaels, here is free if you by the student kit, which is around 24.99.

I am off to Course II this weekend, it is a blast, have fun and enjoy.

Michaels class cost is $30, but they do montly promtions.
March: Buy the kit get the class free
April: 40% off or $18
May and June: 30$ off or 21

The Course 1 kit is $20. You will need atleast it (or what is in it) plus meringue powder and decorating bags. Of course there are alot of other things you will probably want to buy, depending on what you have. You can spend anywhere from $40 to $100+ on supplies.

Use coupons when you can (Michaels will have one in Sundays paper) and you also get a 10% off student discount on supplies at Michaels. I think the other stores give a discount too, but I'm not totally sure.
