I have an order for cupcakes with whipped cream icing. I have not iced with anything besides the class buttercream.
I've made an icing with cream cheese and whipped cream( cool whip) ..very yummy. My question is when I add in the colors since you have to mix it alot will it turn the whip cream mushy? how do I prevent that?

If you really want to color plain whipped cream, add the color before you whip it.

I use the stableized whipped cream on the Wilton website. I add the color when I add the piping gel.
