I just saw a commercial last night that Khols is having a 2-day 50% off sale. Kitchen appliances are included and on the commercial it showed a pic of a ka mixer. I'm not sure what their original prices are or what sizes/models they carry but I'm definately going to check it out. (DH is going with me and today is my birthday...I'm feeling lucky icon_wink.gif 0) I'm so hoping that the prices are reasonable, they have a nice one that will work for me and that they are actually on sale! icon_eek.gif . Just thought I would share in case anyone has been thinking of getting one. My little old stand mixer is not a very good one and I'm having trouble with it. icon_cry.gif

My KA always brings a smile to MY face because back YEARS ago when my husband and I were first dating, he bought me a beautiful simple ring and I returned it for a KA!! That was almost 30 years ago and I've got 2 KA's now and several rings later! I think thankfully he knew I wasn't a jewelry person but a baker. No wonder he proposed! LOL

the sale is supposed to be friday and saturday i believe. I'm going to call to check. Also going to find out if they have the KAs in stock and if they are included in the sale. We live about a 30 minute drive away and don't want to get my hopes up.

Be sure and talk to a couple of different employees and get their names! Half the time the regular employees don't know what they are talking about so I try to always speak to management on some level and get their name so when I do go in the store I've got a name to back up my story! Nothing worse than going to get something with high expectations only to get there and someone that knows nothing busts my bubble! icon_mad.gif Especially if you have to drive so far as you do!

The sale will be friday and saturday only. The sale can be up to 50% off, but not all items will be 50% off. Could not get a straight answer as to if the mixer would definately be included, but probably will and probably not at 50% off. As much as 40% off. With answers like that who knows? So I spoke to the manager and they haven't seen the sale ads yet! (And I have?) She said if the ka was pictured on the commercial then it would be included in the sale, but they never have them at 50% off, it would be 40% off at the most. Well...this is as much info as I can get until Friday!

Seriously, call kitchenaid directly. I just bought 2 of the $600 professional units for $239 a piece. They were used in a food network demo, but they were less than half price with a full warranty.

Wow!! Do you have a number? I have a classic that my husband got me for valentines day but I am already looking to upgrade it. I have found one on Sams Club website that I think is a good deal but I can't find the exact same one anywhere else to compare. It says that it is a proffesional HD that has 475 watts for about $260. Is that a good deal or not.....and why can't I find the same one anywhere else?

Kohls will usually have their KA's at 15% or 20% off. If you don't have a Kohls card you can open one and get an additional 10% or 15% off. If you don't like the thought of credit cards, you can just pay it off right there at the register. Kohls will even give you the additional % off even if you're not approved for their card, you get it just for applying.

After reading this I went straight to Kohls to scope out the situation. The ones I saw were kinda' tiny. But oh, there's also a $20 mail in rebate in the box so if you get it on sale, you can also get the rebate.

Oh that would be nice eh?

Do you have a ACE hardware near you? I saw on their website they were one of the cheapest. I have one for my kitchen, but would like another one...and bigger the 600 series I think the 6 gallon. For baking etc..

I haven't been there, but I know compared to here in Canada, it was over half price ...It is SOOO expensive here!!

Good luck, and keep us posted!!

I just got the sweetest surprise. DH just had a very good day (sales) and called me to say that I should go online and look at khol's website and see what they had and the prices! icon_surprised.gif I believe I was right about the luck! icon_biggrin.gif I'm finally going to get my ka!!!!

I've already picked what I want from their site. I am going to call and see if they carry that model. Has anyone ever ordered something like this online? They have a last chance free shipping with any purchase going on right now. If they don't have what I want I may end up ordering it.

I got mine from QVC and it was a great deal. I was looking for a few months and pricing them out. I was flipping channnels and they were offering it cheaper than I have ever seen it. They had all the colors too. When I got mine the next day another one was delivered. I got my bill to see if I was charged twice. They only charged me ONCE!!!! Now I have the second one in the closet.

You can also get them off their website www.qvc.com
