Hi everyone...just got home...with my new ka!!! 
Thanks to everyone once again for all your info and advice. Cake central people rule!!! I'm now the proud owner of a KA Artisan 5 qt. 325 watts in silver (chrome look). 
I was looking awfully hard at the light blue one. I've admired it from afar for a long time, but decided to go with the silver. I've been planning my first cake to make with it all day. Don't know if it will actually get into the oven, I will probably melt into a puddle on the floor as I'm mixing for the first time.
