I finally made a rose that I am happy with!

So I had to make this whole cake just to put it on! icon_lol.gif

reesesob, you should be patting yourself on the back over this rose! It is beautiful! I am still working to get them right too. It just takes getting the right consistency of icing and that little knack of the wrist! icon_lol.gif
I like your whole cake! You put a lot of work into it and it shows. The single rose looks great!

Thank you all! I really am so hapyy with the way it turned out.
I have decided that I must start going to the gym tomorrow, because since I started doing cakes again this month I have also been eating alot of cakes this month!

Thanks everyone! It makes me feel GREAT to hear eveyone likes this cake so much.
I honestly have to say that this one of the only cakes that I have steped back and said "WOW! I really like this one".
I got the idea for it from the cover of a wilton book (that one has about 30 roses on it!) but I loved how the dots looked and figured this would be a good oppertunity to do it.
I used the Wilton Pattern Press Set to get the lines and then used a #3 tip for the dots.
Again, thank you all so much I can't wait to make the next cake!
