Y-e-s! Perry thumbs_up.gif
I am very happy that you choose Sylvia for your cake! She is my IDOL! Her work is FAB!
I refer to her books all the time for BC and artistic directions! Her recipes are on the money and it is AMAZING what you can do with them...Fantastic thumbs_up.gif How lucky you are to have met her. I'm jealous icon_wink.gif When I was in culinary school ('95) I desperately, tried to intern with her but icon_cry.gif

Actually, six years ago she was one and only choice to make my wedding cake but, since we decided to get married in PA. and my husband is a hillbilly redneck from PA. I decided to use one of their local baker she was good but...not a Sylvia W.

EXCELLENT CHOICE(S) thumbs_up.gif

Phenomenal! I second the following questions:
how much did it hurt (financially)?
Flowers - real, silk, gumpaste?

What a dream come true for you. Congratulations!

Congratulations on your marriage! What a wonderful experience to work with the "greats". You're right, you got the best of both worlds. Sylvia's cake is absolutely stunning and the dragon, well, he pretty much speaks for himself. Very cool. Thank you so much for sharing!
