I really thought they were made of marzipan...it was hard to believe b/c they look so perfet, but they almost had me.
They are cute anyway. 
I had seen it circulating here on Cake Central and several people had sent it to me via email. One of my cake students who had also seen the email somehow found out about it being an urban legend on the snopes site. I have no idea how she found out! They sure are precious little works of art.
