I need ideas for a lilac wedding cake... I searched on here and really can't find any that I actually like enough to try and do... it needs to be lavender in color and have lilacs... whether it's the lilac flowers or the actual clumps of lilacs, it doesn't really matter, either will do... it needs to have tiers though... thanks!

How about the lilac colored wedding cake with white or cream colored brush embroidery.

collete peters has a cake in one of her books that is lilac in color, the icing is done in buttercream and ribbed upwards with a comb, she then made a sugar vase with all royal flowers for the top, the entire cake was done with about 500 flowers, it is quite a project, but very impressive. The longest part was making all the flowers. If you are interested, PM me and I will get you a photo. Cupcake

Warning: remember lilac and lavender have a high risk of fading. Whatever you choose, keep that in mind.
