Hey everyone! I just got asked to make a baby shower cake for a friend. She says that there will be about 50 people attending. What size cake should I make? Is there some magic equation that someone has lying around that can be used to determine what size cake to make for the amount of people? Thanks in advance!

Hi Lisa,

Here is a link to the charts at the Wilton website, that tell you the number of servings based on party or wedding cakes (party cake slices are slightly bigger than wedding slices). You could do a 12" and 8" rounds for about 60 servings or 6" and 9" rounds for about 44 servings, or 9 x13 sheet for about 45 servings, etc.
