Next Time I Will Never....follow Up -- Finished!!!!

Just wanted to give a little follow-up to my vent last night -- boy was I tired by the time I was finished!
Well, I think I managed to save the airplane cake from looking like big blue whale/bus!!!! 
Check out my pics if you read my post last night and are interested to see the results. When I posted last night I hadn't added the top wing or the accents, and the wings and front/propeller weren't placed yet. So, imagine just the body of it if you can and see if you can see why I was saying whale/bus. I think it would still make a good whale if I went that direction instead of a plane, but once I added everything, I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. 
Cake, I am finding, is, in many ways, very forgiving, thank goodness. I guess once the general idea is there, the mind makes it so.
Anwyay, I know it's by no means perfect, but I am very proud of how it came out, and the crowd loved it!
I have to give a thank you to my DH, who gets home at midnight, and inspired me to continue with the second cake that accompanied it. I was so tired that I wasn't going to do the banner, but he encouraged me and then there it was. I really didn't think I had any more in me.

They are beautiful cakes! I know that was alot of work and you pulled it off beautifully!
