Jusy out of curiosity when cakes are made of fondant does the person or person's eat the fondant or is it taken off before the cake is cut and eaten.

I think it is a personal preference. I don't like fondant on my cake. I am a BC girl. The rest of my family likes fondant on their cake. Their favorite is the MMF flavored with raspberry.

It just depends on your taste. I don't like the taste so I put a generous layer of bc under the fondant so I can take the fondant off. But some people don't mind the taste so they just eat it.
