The naughty cakes aren't any problem for me...I don't mind doing them at all. It's a chance to have some creative fun, but I won't do them if kids will be at the event. There are very few cake orders I actually turn down, I like the challenges they offer...

BUT, I still can't get a handle on working with fondant, and if I feel what is asked of me is truly beyond my level of experience, I will try to make other suggestions so that the customer and I are BOTH happy with the final product.

Absolutely no exotic--meaning X-rated-- cakes. Lately, I'm also turning down character cakes if the client wants the cake done exclusively with the star tip. I'm concerned about the reepetitive motion--carpel tunnel worries, I guess.
