Today I finally got some time to try working with gumpaste. This was the first time I ever worked with gumpaste. I really enjoyed it, but it took me 3 hours to make 1 figure! This was also my first time for icecream cone Christmas trees.

Wow! It may have taken a long time, but look at your results! You should be really proud of yourself! I love the trees too, by the way--they look like the real deal!

He looks absolutely great! I commented in the gallery section that I am jealous of everyone here with such talent! My attempts at making people or animals come out looking really, really sad! LOL

It looks really great. Any time I try to make a figure from gumpaste it always comes out looking demented. amy

Thanks for all the nice comments. Over the past couple of weeks, I have been a real pest asking questions about gumpaste and modeling. If it wasn't for all the great people on this forum and their willingness to help, I wouldn't even think of trying to do things with gumpaste or many of the other decorating techniques I've been playing with. Kudos to a great group of people.
