Hey all, just wondering what filling would you use for Betty Crocker's Butter Pecan mix? I love this cake and can't plcae what should be used. Any input is appreciated!

I love the butter pecan cake mix also. And I've racked my brain trying to come up with a filling that would go with that flavor. The only one other than buttercream that I think would taste good is white chocolate ganache.

I usually just revert back to just using icing (I use italian meringue buttercream with real vanilla).

check the recipe section... there is a brown sugar filling/icing recipe that would be fabulous!
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 tablespoons light brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon almond extract
1 tablespoon honey

How about a cream cheese icing filling or butterscotch pudding with Pastry Pride or Bavarian Cream (CC).....

Thanks ladies, I am going to try the brown sugar one I think. Sounds yummy, but then, they all do, lol. Thanks again!
