I bought a springform pan to make a cheese cake. Did a trail run and the cake can out beautifully. I couldn't figure out how to get the bottom on the pan off the cake. Does anyone have suggestions and advice on how to use a springform pan?
Thanks on advance

You can put either parchment paper or a cake board in the bottom of the pan. Otherwise, try to remove it from the bottom while still warm. Once it's chilled, the butter will harden and stick like crazy to the bottom.

the best way I found, is to line the bottom of the pan with a round of parchment. once the cake is baked and fully chilled, you can slide a thin blade between the parchment and the bottom of the pan. Once the parchment is loose, the cake can slide right out on to your serving tray. If you don't do the cutting, warn the server about the layer of parchment on the bottom.

my mom always puts a cake circle in the bottom and it comes out ok !! she just lays the bottom of the pan on top of the cake circle and trims to fit
