Hi everyone! yep...it finally happened... lol. It crashed & I had to reformat the hard drive. Lost pictures, files, everything....it made me sick. So I haven't been around in about a week or so. Between the computer and shopping for Christmas (on top of all the normal everyday wife/mom stuff) I've not had much extra time to visit my home away from home!! 
I see there's been a ton of stuff going on....lots to read!! Wish me luck...off to try and catch up with all of you!! HA!

Yep....no, system restore was unfortunately not an option. All of a sudden, when I turned it on one morning, it just stopped booting up at a certain point...then just hung with a black screen. So I let it sit for a couple of days, then tried again....same thing over & over. I couldn't even start it up in safe mode to try & figure out what was happening. SOOOOOOO frustrating!! So reformatting was the only choice left. Other than taking it somewhere & paying them to fix it...which wasn't a gurantee that they wouldn't have had to do the same thing I ended up doing anyway. From now on I'm copying all my pics and important files to a cd once a month, just in case....until I get a new computer. lol Live & learn, I guess....
Ouch kiddo, so sorry that happened to you. I have been having some problems too, hope it doesn't start going around. Glad to see you back!
