This may seem trite to some of you but I believe that God is interested in even the small stuff in our lives so I am asking for your prayers in a difficult matter. I have a beloved uncle (like my father) who is in hospice and has just a matter of days to live. I am also on our church drama team and have a very dramatic sketch this week for church. With all the emotional "gunk" going on, I am having a lot of difficulty remembering lines in rehearsals. The lines are critical to this sketch because if I screw it up it will throw the other actor off and ruin the whole point of the sketch that leads up to the pastor's sermon. I am asking that you will pray for clarity and a good memory so that the sketch will be flawless on Sunday. I also pray that God would call my uncle home so that his pain and suffering will be over. You're in my prayers, Christeena! I don't believe there is any such thing as the "small stuff"...if you take away the "small stuff" there's nothing left. I've found unbelievable peace in my life since I just handed all of it (even the 'unimportant' things) to God.
Prayers for your uncle as well, that he may find peace.
Just to let you know that my uncle passed into heaven's glory around 12:30 a.m. I will be spending the day with auntie helping her make funeral plans, etc. Thnaks, for your prayers and support.

Thanks everyone! Today, I'm putting together a powerpoint presentation of photos to loop on a TV at the funeral home Sunday and DH is going over lines every spare chance we have!! I pray I don't flub the drama at church on Sunday a.m. Also, we are under a winter storm watch for freezing rain, sleet and snow tonight thru Sunday!! Please pray for traveling safety!
The drama sketch was postponed until THIS Sunday as we had services cancelled last week due to bad weather so I am still running lines in my head. PLUS I am teaching a cake decorating class at the restaurant where I work as a waitress on Saturday so I am pretty busy this week getting ready for that. Thanks s o much for your prayers and support.
