icon_cool.gif Hey ya all.......I tried adding just a smigin' of clear kayro syrup to the fondant and it made it just slightly sticky and when I tasted it, it was rather real sweet. So, in my opinion,,it's a wash........

I will just keep doing the crisco adding as I go.......Also,,at Linens & Things shop, they have the mini bake in one, you know those cute little round cake pans that you can make and add whatever to the middle or even a different cake flavor.....They are selling over here for $19.99 plus tax.....

Bye bye for now........

I never knew about adding Karo syrup to fondant. I have always used crisco...but I do not get very many fondant orders. Thanks for the tip! icon_smile.gif

Adding the crisco has always worked for me..adding the Karo syrup is just adding more sugar to something that is sweet enough already! Thanks for posting your results though...good to know!!
