I finally sold my house YAYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!

I have 1 week to pack and go to beautiful British Columbia!!!
I am soooo excited! My husband and I grew up in the area we are moving to so we are finally going home! (it's been 11 years for me in Fort McMurray, Alberta!) I'll be home for Christmas!!!!

and I will be able to take the Wilton courses! I am very excited about the courses I've been waiting for so long to take them! I will finally learn how to make a rose and other flowers and basket weave and I can go on and on.....I still have to do my Christmas shopping I won't be doing that until about the 17th aaagggghhh I don't like leaving it this long. I am sooo excited!!!

I'm sorry! I'm just so excited!!! icon_lol.gif

Did I mention I haven't seen my husband in 3 months? I don't know how you military wives/husbands do it! I admire you, you are all so strong! usaribbon.gif

Congrats.... party.gifparty.gificon_lol.gif

That is terrific!!!
So off to BC and a little second honeymooning ???
The joys of packing and moving...Although I do better when I have less time than to much as I end up having to get stuff out of already packed boxes.

Where will you take the courses...Lethbridge, Cranbrook ????

Send me a PM or email if you are coming through here and we can grab a coffee, my new email is [email protected]

How did your son's birthday cake turn out ??? Your practice cake was so cute I have been waiting to see the actual cake but haven't seen it posted yet, I'm sure it was great.

Again I am so happy your house sold and you and your family can be reunited for the holidays.

Yippee! Back to the hubby, and back to civilization! I'm so excited for you!

BTW - I finally asked my dad where my uncle lives, and he's in Abbotsford just outside Vancouver.

Congrats!! I hope you have a safe move, and a great Christmas in your new home!

Did your hubby relocate there for a job and you had to stay until the house sold? Thanks for the military wife compliment icon_biggrin.gif I've been away from my husband a total of 7 months out of the year, and its really heartbreaking. Those phone calls are so few and far between.

Have a great holiday season! I really hope you and that cute little boy have a safe trip!

Wonderful, congratulations kiddo! That will be so good for you! I can relate, hubby transfered a lot and would have to go up ahead. With our last move, he was a whole year here before I moved, but he was home most weekends. Still, you just feel better and safer when you are together!

Thank you for all of the wonderful comments! It brought tears to my eyes!
I'll only get to see my husband for a couple of days and then he is off again, going to school about an hour and a half away (Cranbrook) but then he's off for a week! YAAAAYYYYY!!!! and then he's home for good!

Freddie:

I will be in touch with you once everything is settled probably after Christmas.
I'll take the classes in Lethbridge because my parents live there. I can't wait! I hear there is a cake club in Cranbrook and my brother and SIL live there so I'll have to check that out too!

Like Alimonkey said I'm going to be back in civilization!! So many things to do and see lol!!

RaRaRobyn:

Yes, my husband got transferred 3 months ago so I was left to sell the house and he had to pick one out down there. Thank goodness for email and the internet because if I let him pick it out on his own boy oh boy that just wasn't pretty! I would not be happy to be moving!

Thanks again everyone! Merry Christmas to you all if I don't get a chance to be on line for a while! BE SAFE!!
