I have several cake decorating tips that have filled my tool box and now filled up a tip box. How do you store all your tips? I want them to be in one place so that I don't have to go searching for what is where. Thanks!

I bought bead boxes from Michaels... in the beading section... I have 4 of the large ones, 1 for some tips and the other 3 for my wilton colors. They are about 2 inches tall, so I can stack 4 of them on top of one another in my cabinet... saved a lot of space!

icon_smile.gif I use a small tool box...with the little drawers that most men use for drill bitsetc. ......it's gray, and has about 12 little drawers that pull out....it's plastic. You can find them in the hardware section, some are smaller/larger than others. They are not expensive either, they have little sections in them. It's nice, I have labeled each drawer with the tip numbers..and easy to find quickly. icon_smile.gif HTH. icon_smile.gif

Countrycakes - I thought about doing that option as our decorating store does that.
SouthernSuziesSweets - What color and size are the bead boxes. I am going to Michaels today as there is a 50% off coupon. Yeah!

This looks like a good way to go. I love organization and this tool keeper certainly helps with that! Thanks for the picture. icon_smile.gif

Your welcome~ It's nice to have the stuff I need right there on the counter top icon_smile.gif When I first started decorating I used the bead keepers & tip keepers but everytime I would go to open them up the tips would spill all over the place. Then someone suggested the tool keeper & it's been great!

I have a tool storage thing too. I stole it from my husband before he got a chance to use it. icon_twisted.gif
I have the tip boxes but I spill my tips all the time so I don't use them, I do use them if I have to take them somewhere but not for home.

Thanks for the picture. I think that is the way I am going to have to go. I am just collecting more stuff every time a new job comes in. I need to get organized now. Thanks for all the input everyone!

I also use a tool box but while we are on the subject of tips I was at my sil's house yesterday and she has a new baby and she has this container for washing the baby's spoons and bottle tips its a little plastic dishwasher safe box with a locking lip that you can just throw in the dishwasher and I thought how great that would be for my tips a good cleaning withough working about them getting lost in the bottom of the dishwasher.
