i want to do a tiered cake with a BCT on the sides of the cake..would that work??
I dont know if u get what i mean...instead of putting the bct on the top of the cake, i want to stick it on the side...I think it'll work as long as it's not extremely thick..has anyone ever tried?
please tell me SOMEONE has attempted this before

Hi there, I haven't tried this before, but I am pretty sure I have seen a pic of that on this site. I really don't see why it wouldn't work...
I mean, its thick enough that the colours shouldn't all run and if your icing is sticky enough (or put an even layer of fresh icing on before you add the bct) then I can't see it falling off - I dunno, just my unpro 2 cents. Hope it helps !
I was thinking maybe it was too heavy and would fall off...do u have the picture saved?
It has been done before and it does work, just put a lot of icing on the back to make sure it adheres.

Thanks squirrely, I dont know if you saw my other post for u, but I love your new avatar!!! ![]()
Thanks kiddo, though I cannot take any credit at all for it, Cake Princess put a hat on it, one of many, haha and animated it for me but on this site the file size makes it too blurry so I went back to unanimated. I thought I would switch for a bit and go back to the squirrel with pink cake for the summer, haha! Oh my gosh you should see one she came up with that is an anatomically correct male squirrel real squirrel, haha! But I wouldn't dare use him for an avatar or I would get into trouble, haha! She turned him into a construction squirrel complete with a jackhammer and construction/miner hat. Too funny!
Anyway, I am calling him, "Baker Squirrel".
