I just joined freecycle and already love it. If you don't know about it, it is a group on yahoo where you post anything you have but don't want anymore, or ask for something you need. Everything must be "family friendly (no guns, porn, illegal) and free.
I asked for cake supplies yesterday, and someone already gave me a box of cake pans and forms.
If you are interested in it, go to Yahoo and search for "Freecycle"

That is the coolest thing, thanks for sharing. Another persons junk is someone elses treasure eh? We throw so much in the trash because I just want to get rid of it, this is awesome.

I'm a moderator on two of our local Freecycle lists and it always amazes me what things pass through the list. The most amazing thing was a full-size sailboat on a trailer. The owner just didn't have time for it anymore. icon_eek.gif

This is really cool!! I have an old dryer I've been trying to get rid of! I wish I could find cake pans in my area group. I'm going to keep on checking. Thanks for sharing this info!

I get about 10 - 20 e-mails a day from freecycle showing me the offers and wanteds. A few people have asked for cake supplies; so I know I'd never get a chance to get some!
