I came across some photos tonight of cakes that I did in different classes I took in 1972. I thought you might enjoy seeing them. Styles have most assuredly changed since then.

They are both so beautiful and elegant. thanks for sharing. I enjoyed seeing them both. You definitely have much talent.

Thank you, I had some very good instructors over the years. I was very fortunate to be able to take these classes and I will always be grateful to those women who taught. I know Mrs. Gates has long since passed away and I imagine Evelyn Wallace has as well. I have heard that Senora de Alvarez is still doing cakes and participates in ICES events.
