I think it looks pretty good. Nice job on the roses and the colorful cake board.

I love the colour combination! It's perfectly neat and even, a great job!

It seems like a lot of flavours at once though? Double fudge chocolate, strawberry, cream, almond & coconut icon_confused.gif

I think its beautiful! My daughter saw it over my shoulder and said the colors matched her Little Ponies exactly! Very fresh looking!

Very beautiful! Love the colors and all of the roses. The double fudge cakes sound to die for and the coconut and strawberry flavors should work fine with it. Did you get to taste a bite of it?

I have to agree about the flavors - seems like the flavors in combination would be overwhelming.

I'd consider putting a solid topping of roses (rather than just outlining the top) but that is just a personal preference.

A non-personal critique:

As a birthday cake I don't think I would pick the lucky horse shoe. Unless of course there is some hidden message to the recipient. Hmmmm, and green leaves on green background tend to blend together.

Your roses are very, very lovely and over all it is a very pretty cake!!!

My first thought was the flavor combo too. I think too many flavors were used. The chocolate cake and strawberries and cream filling sounds great. I would have just gone with a vanilla bc for icing and roses.
