Hey~
My friend has asked me to do a 18 wheeler cake! I'm excited about it but I do not know where to start. I have the large loaf pan (I think that's what is used for the 18 wheeler)... I got it a few years back so I could do a firetruck cake... & never did icon_wink.gif If anyone could help me out I would appreciate it big time!! thumbs_up.gif Thanks in advance!! ~TC~ icon_biggrin.gif

i saved somewhere either a link or a picture of an 18 wheeler cake because it is on my "want to do someday" list. Let me do some searching and see if I can find it.

some ideas

main body semi container area --> long loaf pan.

support on board w/ brick under it to hold off ground (make brick black) and hold high enough to do wheels -- those prefrosted snack donuts work great.

I did a truck cake for my daughter's birthday last year. It was a tractor-trailer style. I used the 11x15 sheet pan and mini chocolate covered donuts. Go to my photos and check out "Safari Truck Cake". I'll give you my directions if you like. icon_smile.gif

Found the website I had seen a picture of it. I thought I had one with directions but no luck.

I am planning on baking a 12" x 18" and then cutting and stacking the layers that I need. Could do this with any sheet cake.
