I also just want back to school to become a Massage Therapist! I wish I would have realized that I love to massage sooner!!
That is a great hobby(job) I wish my husband would take it up. He hates massaging. Lord knows I need them often especially after a long day baking and decorating cakes.

I don see how all of you keep up with all your different hobbies. I got tired just reading it! ![]()
I love to decorate cakes (of course). I also love to read, Nora Roberts and Danielle Steele aere 2 of my favorites, but I read all kinds. I collect cook books and I really like to cook. I LOVE to bake. Not just cakes, but everything. I am a singer and I sing at my church almost every service. I love to go antiquing(spelling?), and flea markets AND thrift stores. I also love to shop. I also love to spend time with my 2 year old, she's the light of my life! HMMM... my list is kind of long too, isnt it? ![]()
Well I love to bake cakes, cookies etc and really am having fun with cake decorating. I am now sewing doll clothes for the cabbage patch dolls I bought my granddaughters for christmas. I am making matching nightgowns and robes for the girls too. I just finished cross stitching a blanket for one granddaughter and have another to go before christmas. I crochet and have done many baby blankets, sweater sets, gowns, victorian capes etc..ponchos. I makes bridal bouquets and have made all the centerpieces for my wedding as well as for other weddings. I love doing any and all crafts. My passion is genealogy thank heavens my husband and youngest son dont mind cemetery hopping. Thats how we taught my son to read. By reading headstones. Oh I am a room mother for my sons 3rd grade class and a soccer mom. Add raising my granddaughter I have a very busy schedule. But I wouldnt trade it for anything.
Hi, would like to join the ranks of so many busy people. My DH & I love square dancing & showing dogs (Great Pyrenees, have a new pup to train right now). Plus I take dance lessons (mixed styles from jazz& lyrical ballet, to hiphop & broadway), I do counted cross stitch, love to read, scrapbooking, sketching (portraits mostly, latest is our granddaughter) & I just took level one of Therapeutic Touch. But most of my time is taken upwith our darling Granddaughter.

I love the computer and am learning how to make better web pages, learning html, etc. That is fun. Also working on learning Paint Shop Pro, and doing graphics and animations.
I like crocheting, especially doilies, but haven't done that for awhile. Used to sell them on Ebay but it totally wasn't worth my time!
Used to knit and cross stitch but don't do that anymore. Also love to read but haven't had any new books lately or any time with three little boys around!
And of course...cake decorating. ![]()

Besides caking (i don't think that's a real word but you understand
)
I like to crochet-that's usually my gift for a new baby-a blanket and maybe a hat and booties. I tried to learn knitting but haven't had time to really try so I have to get back to that one! I also like to make simple jewelry, crafty things like I made a Christmas wreath out of pine cones and ribbon, like to collect cookbooks, cooking, yoga (but I haven't been able to do it since I was first pregnant and the baby just turned a year old
) I found it so relaxing though. I really miss it. I also would like to learn embroidery and to sew.
The only good thing about the flood is I get to buy new craft stuff but shhhh-don't tell DH
That is a great hobby(job) I wish my husband would take it up. He hates massaging. Lord knows I need them often especially after a long day baking and decorating cakes.

I wish my husband would take more interest in it. I've tried to teach him the techniques but he's just not into it. My 4 year old daughter is more interested than he is. She's my little helper! ![]()

Wow everyone has so many diverse interests !
I love nature, so I am a camper and hiker, also collect rocks, never grew out of playing with rocks. I also carve and etch on rocks.
I love to craft and make baskets with my homemade Christmas ornaments in them for everyone of my friends and family, it has become tradition. One year I had surgery at Christmas time and never got any ornaments made and everyone made comment that something was missing. Most of my family call their trees RaeMarie trees as most of the ornaments on them are made by me.
I love to computer scrapbook and play around with pictures and graphic programs. This year I am making story books for my granddaughters with their pictures for Christmas. Our family has a tradition of drawing names for buying one gift and then you have to make something homemade for everyone else, it keeps the creative juices going coming up with new things every year and is always fun to see what everyone thinks up from the youngest to the oldest. Last year,my brother made me a coupon book for free oil chages done by him, another brother made wonderful dry spare ribs as a gift, my grandaughter gave me a little basket she made. All the gifts are more special this way and gives a different insight into all the different family members.
I am also a collector of all things craft. I moved out of the master bedroom into a smaller room so I could turn the master bedroom into a craft/library. The large double closet is full of craft stuff.
Reading is another passion, from murder mysteries to historical romances and cookbooks.
My other favorite pasttime is garage saleing, fleamarketing, second hand shopping and craft fairing.
Basically I like things natural and creative!!!
