hello, has any of you cake ladies ever tried watkins flavorings? i recently bought the lemon extract and it is delicious, but i was wondering about the double strength vanilla.
I'm from the old school and remember when the Watkins man (that's what we children called him) would come to our house selling different things in his stationwagon.
I see that Walmart is caring Watkins Flavorings now.
I would use nothing but Watkins if my uncle hadn't already gave me 60 bottles of (assorted) Adam's extra & flavorings. All made in TX. Adam's flavoring is good too~ I love Watkins! It is the very best! I was going to mention that Walmart is selling Watkins too but Stephanie beat me to it.
I really hate it that Walmart is selling Watkins. It will surely put the "Mom & Pop" people who sell it out of business. That's so sad. My friends who have the cake supply store sell it & I won't buy it anywhere else! Go MOM & POP stores!!
Watkins is very popular here in Canada.I use their vanilla all the time! I also have used their Strawberry,Irish Cream flavorings.Delicious.....

I have seen the big bottles of vanilla at costco and wondered the same thing

I usually mix nielsen-massey and mccormick together
