Present Cake Wrapped In White Chocolate
12', 8", 5" each 8" high double layer. Each tier had chocolate cake with salted caramel filling, and white cake with passion fruit filling. All layers were coated with Italian meringue buttercream, then wrapped in white chocolate. Roses, filler flowers, and bows are white chocolate. Cranes are fondant. I would like to give a BIG shout out to Cammie for answering my many questions on how to build, support, and deliver such a large cake (which, by the way, had to travel for 3 hours in 100 degree weather), and to the most wonderful Richard Festen for teaching me his wonderful technique of working with chocolate and design. These are remarkable people!

Sophia's Cinderella Castle Cake
I posted this cake once before, but I wanted to add some information, I had to delete it and post again. Apologies to those who had saved this cake photo. I am very grateful for all the amazing castle cakes and inspirational ideas on this site! My first castle cake is made with 6" and 8" tiers of chocolate cake covered with vanilla buttercream. Towers are made of molasses and Oreo cookies covered with fondant and fondant steps and stonework. Roofs, windows, door, and castellations are made of chocolate plastique.

Fish In Pond
I was asked to make a brthday cake and the only thing I was told was that he likes to fish. After my first cake nightmare I wasn't so sure I was up to trying a fish again but was inspired by one of Mac's fish cakes. This fish cake turned out better than my last but its still never quite what I pictured and hoped for in my head. I still enjoyed getting the practice though!

Little Prince First Birthday
This cake was for a little guy's First Birthday :) I was really frustrated with how difficult my fondant was this particular day - couldn't get it smooth to save my life! Argh! Loved the overall design of the cake though, and they were thrilled - also made matching cupcakes as well if you look in my photos. Crown was gum paste, painted with gold Americolor airbrush paint.

Congratulations Kirsty and Stu. This wedding cake has 11", 8" and 5" double height square tiers. The bottom two tiers are wedding chocolate sponge cake with chocolate ganache filling and the top tier is a dummy cake (fake). It is iced in white fondant with black satin ribbon, royal icing piped dots and "taking the upper hand" cake topper with the brides hair hand painted to be brown.
