As you all know now, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is slated to be released in theaters on November 22nd, 2013! We were stunned by all of the submissions to our Hunger Games Inspiration Challenge contest— for the original inspiration and rules, visit the contest announcement.

Congratulations to Inspiration Challenge winner Nazarine! We were impressed by your boiled sugar flames and intricate gumpaste topper! Our inspiration board included several images inspired by Catching Fire, and Nazarine captured that theme so well.
We would also like to congratulate our runner up, abha06. We love the richly-colored flames that surround the sides of the cake.
