It’s clear after a quick scan of the Cake Central galleries that cakemakers know how to celebrate Halloween. Some spook-loving sugar artists, however, have taken frightening frosting to a whole new level!
For the last two months, 44 cakemakers from around the world have been at work creating gruesome goodies for the first ever Halloween cake collaboration project, Sugar Spooks. Each cake features at least one “extreme” element, from eerie sound effects to…well, you’ll just have to watch to find out!
From sweet and spooky to downright devilish, check out the video featuring all 44 extreme Halloween cakes. Some were even made by members of the Cake Central family and current contestants of Food Network’s Halloween Wars, including Courtney Clark, Sarah Ono Jones, Mark Lie, Susan Trianos, Vivian Pham, Mike McCarey and Hajnalka Mayor, cover cakemaker of Cake Central Magazine‘s October 2013 issue!
