Mickey First Birthday
One tier chocolate, one tier vanilla, smash cake vanilla, all covered in buttercream with fondant accents. I used a small half ball shaped pan for the mickey head on the big cake and used the wilton mini wonder mold for the smaller mickey head, had to do some carving as the mini wonder pan is slightly pointed

Can't Stop The Rhino
This was actually a cake for Pastor's Appreciation at church. He loves rhinos and there is a song about them he calls his "theme song" It was a big hit! I carved the rhino out of a couple of loaf pan cakes, covered in fondant, did a little black & brown spray to make the color right

Golden Anniversary
For a couple's 50th anniversary. My customer said the couple never had a real wedding so she wanted something to resemble a wedding cake. It was so fun to do. The swags are fondant that I rolled out on a Wilton graceful vines mat, then I filled in the flowers and vine imprints with gold piping gel. Roses were dusted with gold luster dust

Little Engines Can Do Big Things!
This was for my little boy's third birthday. He loves Thomas the train......actually any train, but of course Thomas is special. Used the Wilton 3D stand up train pan, used loaf pans for the "troublesome trucks". Chocolate fudge cake with buttercream covering it under the marshmallow fondant. To get the look of coal on the coal truck, i covered the buttercream underneath with trix cereal, then rolled the black fondant kind of thin so I could shape it over the cereal to get the look of coal. Gifts are solid chunks of marshmallow fondant! yummy!
