Thanksgiving Harvest
This cake was done in 2005. There is so much going on on this cake. I have swirl flowers, Brach's pumpkins, a haystack, farmer's hat, and sunflowers. It almost didn't have sunflowers because I got so fed up with them I almost through them across the kitchen (but that would have made more work to clean up!!).

Snowman
This was quite the cake!! I used the sports ball pan for the bottom snowball, a trimmed sportsball cake for the middle snow ball and a mini-ball for the top snowball. When I finished the cake was leaning forward - but it never feel down!!! Even drove about 15 miles in the car with it! The had is a plastic crystal light container painted black (I think). The arms are pumpkin pics that I found at walmart for 10 cents and pulled the pumpkins off! The people are Peeps.

Red Sox
This was for a patient where my friends mom works (hospital). He takes all the nurses from their floor to a Red Sox game every year. He is a huge Red Sox fan, and works at Dunkin Donuts. She threw him a little party to thank him. The emblem in the middle is free-hand, and the Dunkin Donuts symbols, Citgo sign and Yawkey Way are colorflow. The field is piped using basketweave tip and alternating shades of green. The bases are marshmallows that I cut in half.

Pink Poodle Party
This was for a pink poodle birthday party. I actually got the idea from someone here on CC (sorry don't remember who). The poodle is made from sports ball pan and the head is rice krispies. The "bed" is covered in fondant and scored with a ruler to look quilted. The dogs tummy is fondant - try coloring buttercream to match the pink fondant you bought!!!!

Cross Country Move
This was for a friends mom's co-worker who is moving to CA from MA. The flowers are the state flowers of CA and MA, and are made from gumpaste (my first experience with it). The states were outlined with buttercream. The writing looked horrible when I finished it, but looked a lot better the next morning. The colors used on the cake (writing and decorating) are the state colors of Mass and California.
