How to Make Cast Sugar Easter Eggs with Fondant Appliqués

Julia Usher teaches you to create easter eggs out of cast sugar. Inspired by scrapbooking, she's using punched frosting sheets, embossed and stamped fondant apliques. Fill these eggs with your favorite candy for an Easter treat.

More sugar eggs, but this time styled super elegantly with rubber-stamped fondant appliqués, as well as edible paper and royal icing accents! Filled with candy, they make beautiful and edible Easter gifts. Here, I show how to decorate them and provide two different presentation options.
NOTES:
Cast sugar dries quite hard, so this project - though theoretically completely edible - is primarily decorative, except for the candies inside.
