I am so excited because I'm going to go on a 2 day cake course with Debbie Brown tomorrow. I'm learning how to make her Persian Palace cake. I chose the course because her cakes have such a neat finish to them which I don't think I can get with mine, and I thought it would be a nice two days in my half term holiday. Aww Emma, my DH offered this course/trip to me for a b/day gift but I turned it down. It seemed like a long way to go for a cake course on my own I wish I had accepted now - we could have been cake buddies!!! I'm sure you will enjoy it though, have a great time.

When I contacted Debbie about one course it was full so she put this one up especially as I wanted it and three more people signed up so I look forward to meeting them. It's a shame you didn't sign up LizzieB but I think I'd be the same about going so far. I think it Margaret Braun put on a cake course - Id go wherever it was!

Enjoy your course! I had a great three days with Debbie last November. She is a wonderful person, the classes are very relaxed, and laughs a lot! Great experience!

How lucky! I would love to take a class with her. She sometimes comes to the US but she is here during school time so I can't go (I'm a teacher). I've got so many of her books and I like them all! Have fun Emma!

That is sooo cool! I have never seen her around this area (east coast USA) but I have all of her books. She is my hero! I want to be her when I grow up - Although I am 32 now so maybe I should say I want to be her when my cakes grow up
