So far in the past couple of days, I have read that some of you use eye shadow, lip gloss ingredients and Crayola non-toxic markers to decorate cakes with...
what else does everyone use....
Non-toxic may not mean "foodsafe" You could check with your county extension service for acceptable substitutes.
Personally, it is intended to be eaten, it should be considered "food".
For demo's and dummys, use what works for the particular medium.

This is what crossed my mind when I heard about the markers. At least the other stuff is meant to go on ones' body (maybe not intended to go in it)
Just curious about other people's thoughts on this.

Are you kidding? Since when does non-toxic equate with being food safe? I mean really vaseline is non-toxic does that mean it's safe for me to use in place of Crisco?
As for what I use... Only the best quality food safe products. No skimping for this chickie.
Oi vey! LMAO at the use of Crayola non-toxic markers to decorate cakes and cookies. Well I suppose it's ok as long and they are only feeding it to their kids and family and not to other's.
