First cake? Any criticism? HECK no! You're off to a great start. I look forward to seeing more of your cakes in the future. I'm starting Wilton classes this week with my daughter. Wish us luck!
You're off to a great start! Look how smooth your icing is on your very first cake - WOW! You're going to do fine.
You did a fabulous job!!!! I would never post my first cake, I'd scare everyone to death!!!
Already looks better than mine and love your borders and the pink is very pretty! Keep up the good work!
Great job on your first cake! Can't wait to see how you progress with practice. If you can do that good with your 1st You'll be great in no time.
Very Pretty! If you do that well BEFORE classes, then I can't wait to see your cakes AFTERWARD!

Great Job...nice colors. Good luck in class!! Im also starting classes...my first...wish me luck!
Great job on your first cake and colors are very pretty. I just started my first class last night at Wilton for decorating. No time is waisted in class. I have an asignment already due next week, but I think I'll do alright if I can keep a steady hand flow when writting. I know it takes a lot of practice, but it is just within my hand and wrist that I have the problem with, but not giving up cause I love what I do. Happy baking to all.
Wow! First cake? Very impressive. I just finished Wilton 1 and am starting Wilton 2 this week and my first cake was definitely not as good as yours! Our instructor just showed us last week the trick to getting your icing smooth (dip your spatula in water as you ice so that your icing is thinned even more as you go). I would say you're well on your way to being a great decorator!
