You did a super job! I love the way it looks with your cakes. You did a great job coordinating the two!
Absolutely beathtaking! You did a wonderful job on the tiara but just as much on the cakes!
BRAVO!!!!
Wow! You should be very proud of yourself! It's absolutely gorgeous!!!!!
BTW, to everyone who was curious, I checked my Collette Peters collection and found the tiara in [u Cakes to Dream Upon]. Once you take a look, you'll be really impressed with pink's version!
Fabulous job!

I right-clicked and saved your picture for my future reference....I only do that with stuff I love!!! Thanks for the tips on how to do it.....they're gonna love it!
Wow, what a great idea to give shape to the Tiara... I am going to make a note of this....
Thanks for sharing!
omg is such an understatement!! this is absolutely the best!! i need to do this for my daughter!! i can hope it will be this good you have every right to brag
The idea is in "cakes to dream on" the latest Colette Peters book.
For the record I'm out of town for a girls weekend, I transported both the cake and tiara on an airplane and unfortunatly the tiara cracked in two, but I set it back on the cake and it really didn't even look broken.
Next time I won't make it so high and have high peaks like I did. I think a shorter tighter tiara would work better.... everyone absolutely loved it. It even got eaten a bit.
I'm going to try another one next time on a soup can size and see what I can come up with.
This tiara is something else. Beautiful job!
I just wondered if you could share how you make your royal icing. If i make royal icing the tiara would crack most probably already when I trie to put it on the cake.
once again, great job!
The royal icing recipe is the EXACT recipe found with Wilton's meringue powder. I didn't use fresh egg whites, just the powder.
oh no!!! ... I was sitting here admiring your masterpiece and my daughter (6) walked by... she has requested this for her next birthday ... mind you I'm still taking the Wilton 2nd course. .... fortunately her birthday is in July...so if I start practicing now maybe ...just maybe ...I can get it done ...... lol
i wanted to move you up again because i love your cake so much!! im doing my mom 50 th bday cake this feb. and im tring to talk her into something like this instead of the normal flowers and stuff. i think this is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!!!! not enough people have seen this yet im sure!!
WOW....Where did you get the actual pattern? I read in your earlier post that yours was different from Collette's pattern. That is an awesome tiara. You have inspired me to try one. (I never have any luck with royal icing.) Great job!
