I needed a peanut butter cake for my daughter’s friend who was turning 16. This is what I came up with and they were very happy with the results!!!
Amount Ingredient 1 1/3 Cups Water 1/3 Cup Canola Oil 3 Large Eggs 1/2 Cup Peanut Butter 1 Duncan Hines French Vanilla Cake Mix
Preheat oven and prepare pans according to package directions.
Add water, oil, eggs and peanut butter to mixing bowl. Blend together lightly. Add cake mix. Mix just until blended (about 30 seconds). Beat at at medium speed for 2 minutes. Pour into prepared pan and bake according to package directions.
I used the Crusting Buttercream Icing (VIVA Method) to frost the cake.
I tried this recipe and it was great! I made cupcakes with a choc. mousse filling and topped with peanut butter frosting and choc. drizzle. They were delicious, I loved the taste of the cake, great recipe! Thanks for sharing.
