Irish And Scottish Wedding Cake
I made the shamrocks using a small heart cutter and waited until the hearts dried completely before gluing the points of 3 together. I cut little stalks and glued them in place. The wired shamrocks had to be put together before drying out completely and were attached using a small amount of royal icing instead of pushing the wire into the paste. I cut oval shapes of paste to make plaques and left them to dry before piping the thistle detail. I modelled the teddies and sat them on thistles...ouch!!

Bride & Groom
This cake was a lot of fun to make! The Bride wanted something different and this hit the spot! Bride is Marble base filled with french vanilla cream filling - second tier is Chocolate Chocolate Chip with chocolate mousse filling and the faces are done in an Orange Delight. All cakes iced with buttercream and fondant covered - the Groom is the reverse of the Bride.

Twins Tub Cake
This is my first try with gum paste. It is heavy! Over the course of the day, the Kids (my twin nieces) really started to tip to the back. Other really DUMB DUMB idea was to use jell-o! The gumpaste obviously started to melt!! STUPID, STUPID Idea!! Well, you live and learn. Maybe I should actually take a class or something! Anyway, all the family and friends thought it was cool. I really liked the Ivory soap. The lines in the tile messed up during transfer to my sisters house. Thanks for looking!
