Fairytale Cinderella

Fairytale Cinderella on Cake Central

The doll was made out of gumpaste using a mold for the torso. The arms were hand molded in flesh tone and once dried were painted with a light blue color. The skirt and bodice of dress were also done in gumpaste. I've enjoy doing it. I hope you like it too.

That is gorgeous! Did you use that as a topper? The folds of your fabric are perfect and I love that you have the slip peeking out underneath! You are very talented!

the draping of the skirt looks so natrual. love the added touch of the hand holding the skirt and the little detail of the slip peeking out. Well done!

Oh my gosh...this is just lovely! Nice job :). I, too, love the hand holding up her shirt and the slip just barely showing.

Thank you very much for your comments. Yes, gumpaste or modelling paste are very easy to work. I usually add 1 tsp of tylose or gum tragacanth to 1 lb. of commercially bought fondant and knead it in. Let it rest overnight and the next day, you can use it. Once again thanks for your words.
