Slumber Party Cake
Cake done for a 12 year old girl. Pillows made from marshmallow stuffed fondant, 'girls' made from fondant, blanket fondant and then 'painted'. Underneath are cereal bars and fruit roll ups for the bodies (I was trying to work with what I had - lol). Please tell me you can tell that's leopard print?! Should I change the blanket? It just looked so plain, so I took the print on the invite and ran with it.
This is just the neatest girls cake yet! What a wonderful idea!
What a cute cake....great idea!
Thanks so much! I was really nervous as there were a lot of firsts here (first figures, first time to have to roll out a big piece of fondant, first time to 'paint' fondant). I was terrified!
I think it's adorable. I wouldn't change a thing. I did not pay too much attention to the blanket having a leopard print before you asked about it, I just noticed a blanket with a print design on it. If it matches the invitation it will probably please the recipient even more! Very cute blanket, dont' change it, LOL!
TOO CUTE. THE GIRLS LOOK GREAT. YOU DID A GREAT JOB!
Forgot to say, I just love the little girl with the towel on her head! She must have just had a conditioning treatment!
very cute idea. love the hidden treasure stuff under the blanket.
This cake is adorable. I wouldn't change anything! Saved to my favorites
I especially like the girl with the towel on her head! Too cute
Wow those girls are very well behaved!!!!! The cake looks awesome and I love the print on the blanket!
That's funny! I thought that too...'look at them all neatly tucked into bed' - yeah right! :D
Before I read your little blurb I was looking at the cake and when I got to the blanket I was like "what kind of pattern is that?" when all of a sudden it hit me that it was leopard. Duh! Can't believe it took me that long since my last job the theme throughout the office was leopard!! Awesome cake - well done! Glad you confirmed the leopard for me though - so I don't feel too stupid!
