Presents...
Okay what a disaster this cake is... When I went to add the long dowel to stabilize the cakes dowel (even though I made it pointy) would not go through the round cakeboard and I only found this out after it formed a V and blew out my square cake and ultimately the side of the rectangle... I am so disapointed cuz they DID look so nice. now they look like crap If it was for a paid customer I would have thrown it out and started over,, thank god families are so forgiven!! Please be critical!!

Ooops, I ment to say also what a great job you did. ;-D
Actually this is not THAT bad. I hhave done one similar, I always use tapioca straws as supports and boards between each cake. I have only used one dowel all the way through every cake and that was for the sombrero. You did a great job. I bet it tasted good. It is always good to practice, that is what makes them turn out better the next time.
