THis is my wedding cake for today. It was modeled after a picture the bride sent me, and no I was not having a really bad icing day it is suppose to be that way...lol I just like how this ones looks, but it didnt photograph well. Thank goodness I took a pic before leaving the house because nothing was set up and I just left it at the MIL house in her kitchen because that is where it was taking place.

The flower were purchased but I did color them..lol These are called Vanda Rose Davies Orchides. And I really have to say I just love these flowers and will try to find and excuse to use them again They have an orchid throat but the petals look just like rose petals.. Board covered with fondant and painted.
