College Photography Graduate

This was a graduation cake for my friend. She majored in photography so i tried to recreate her exact camera out of fondant. The cake is covered in fondant and the stars are also fondant. The flowers were made of gumpaste and then petal dusted and the banner for the borders was printed on potato paper using food ink.

marvelous!! what food colouring did you use to get such a rich black?

pastrypuffgirl Says... 9 years ago

actually, i found it easier to buy a small container of black fondant, it is just too hard to try and color the fondant and keep it from getting way too soft.

Before I actually clicked on the picture to take a better look at it I actually thought it was real. I was like "why is someone posting pictures of their camera". You succeeded!!!
