Box Of Chocolates

This was so much fun! I got this from a book, they had you use Pastilliage for the sides of the box and the lid but I wanted it to be a box of chocolate so I used white chocolate. The border is melted chocolate mixed with some cold water to harden it. So it really is a "box of chocolate." Oh....the cake is a regular sponge cake with bc.

Very nice...how did you make the lid?

The lid and sides of the cake are just white chocolate. I melted the chocolate and poured it on wax paper on a cookie sheet. I used a wilton decorating triangle (you can use the icing sculptor too) and drug it across the chocolate once it had hardened just a bit and then cut it to fit the cake. Super easy but be careful when you cut the pieces...don't let the chocolate completely harden, it tends to break.
