A combined father-and- two-sons birthday cake. Dad was celebrating his big 50th so he took position up-front. Each figurine was dressed in what they love doing most - fishing, cricket and motorbike riding. They came up out of the fondant star-burst on top of a white chocolate and dark chocolate mud cake. The mud cakes were ganached and iced with fondant icing. Gum paste stars, twirls and lettering complete their decorations. How do you get grey, frizzy hair effect in gumpaste??? I really struggled with this and ended up using fine scissors.
